Found My Pants! Now where'd I put that bagel? The story telling stylings of Brad Moon

Aside from my traditional fine art works I wanted a blog to showcase the more storytelling side of my art. I've loved comics and animation since I was a kid and I wanted a place to showcase that. Avatar Korra

Finally got around to working up a Korra interpretation. LoK has become one of my alltime favorite cartoons, while different subject matter it reminds me of back when I was a kid watching Bruce Timm and crew's Batman TAS in terms of treating the show as something both kids and adults could enjoy. Korra showcases some pretty heavy themes and they have always done so with respect, some humor, and great character development for all of its cast. I definitely think its a show that everyone should give a try and with the series finale having premiered recently I'll be adding books 3 and 4 to the blueray collection soon. Slainte yall!

Wonder Woman for Sarah Rae

so this piece was something I had done to honor the memory of my friend Sarah Casey. Sarah passed away from breast cancer a couple of years back and even though she's gone she's never really far from my thoughts. What simple words I have can't begin to tell you the light that was inside her or how the world is lessened without her in her, my world especially. On top of her many talents she had a wicked sense of humor and while I was making this I could almost hear her snorting with laughter at the idea. I miss that laugh. I miss you Sarah :)
